I want to share this simple prayer that I wrote when I was in college. I was so desperate that time that I wanted peace. Correction, we wanted peace, so I wrote a prayer and post it on my Facebook account so everyone can help and join me in prayer for peace.
Okay. Let me tell you a bit of what was the situation during those days. Every year I join competitions, particularly dancing. Every year we celebrate College Days. It’s like unwinding time for college students. So days before the competition night, we were rehearsing chaosly. Haha. sorry for using that word. I don’t even know if there’s a word like that. Alright, in short, we are so disorganize! I was so frustrated, competition night was so near yet we haven’t completed our routine. We had a lot of argument. So that is why I wrote this prayer ..
“A PRAYER FOR PEACE “

HEAVENLY FATHER we ask YOU to TAKE OVER 🙂
We REPENT.
WE are struggling. It weakens us.
WE are really in need of YOUR MIGHTY HELP.
We are being persecuted.
We THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, AMAZING GRACE AND ABUNDANT MERCY.
We PRAY for EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION, ORGANIZATION, PEACE and HARMONY every rehearsals.
MONITOR us OH GOD.
BE our PERSONAL CHOREOGRAPHER.
This competition is not about us. It’s all ABOUT JESUS. GO DANCE FOR CHRIST! Besides, HE was The ONE who gave this talent.
It’s all for HIM, all for HIS GLORY.
WE THANK AND PRAISE YOU YAHWEH.IN JESUS NAME. WE PRAY. AMEN.

Apology for the text format, I want you to read it as it is. As you notice it has a lot of all caps, that’s how mad I am that time. I was so bold with that prayer. After I posted that prayer, I was so in peace. God‘s embrace was so comforting. I realize that I cannot fix that situation so I hand it over to God.
Alright, I just want to share that in all situation, good or bad, prayer helps a lot. We acknowledge that God is in control, we cannot do it on our own. So every time we pray, we allow God to take over, to intervene and that all we have to do is to give all our cares, fears, doubts to God and TRUST Him. He is able to fix any problem in His perfect way and best timing. God’s time-table is different from ours. His timetable is the best than ours. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. His ways are better than our ways.
If you are in a situation where you don’t know what to do. Give it to God. Give all your burden to God. Pray. Talk to Him. Tell Him everything. He is listening 24/7. He cares a lot.
